“We want to be a GAD Champion!” as what Regional Director Sancho A. Mabborang said at the meeting held last November 7,2018 at DOST Regional Office.

The reorientation was lead by GAD Focal Point System Chairperson ARD Teresita A. Tabaog. She stated that Gender and Development must be added in all projects of DOST Region 02.
The internal and external customers are the components of Gender and Development. The internal refers to the focal person and technical working group of  GAD while the external are the clients who are using the products of the company but not included in the organization.

GFPS is the life blood of Gender and Development where RD Sancho A. Mabborang has full support to the organization because he wants the region to contribute more on policies and promotions in the higher level.

The evaluation and monitoring of GAD Checklist for Project Management and implementation was held last November 7,2018 has a result of Gender Sensitive which means to understand the level of awareness, appreciation of the need to maintain the difference between male and female.

To level up GAD we must empower the Gad Focal Point System and include the Sustainable Development Goal in the context. According to RD Sancho we must follow the best practices and accomplishments of other regions to be able to reach the goal as the leader in all aspects of GAD Programs.
